Within e-Lips TMS, a single central planning screen is available for all planning activities. Here, you configure trips and schedule vehicles, chassis, and drivers directly for the trip. Trips can be split, linked, or unlinked and marked as fully or partially executed. Trips can easily be moved to a different date or planning group.

Waiting times and additional costs can be recorded, providing immediate insight into the cost structure of trips and transport orders.

Communication via email is possible based on available reports, allowing planners to quickly liaise with customers and partners.

The graphical planning board of e-Lips TMS offers real-time insight into planned trips and equipment deployment. Planners see the daily schedule at a glance and can easily implement adjustments. This ensures overview, peace of mind, and control in the planning process.

With e-Lips TMS, you register trips directly with terminals and port portals from your planning within e-Lips TMS. You can easily request a time slot for dropping off or picking up containers, without having to work in different browsers or external systems.

Pre-notifications are processed immediately via direct API connections with Portbase, PSA, MPET, DP World, Dakosy, and Medrepair. You automatically receive the TAR code and see the assigned time slot immediately reflected in your planning.

Additionally, e-Lips TMS features an automatic pre-notification function. The system attempts to reserve an available time slot independently in the background, without the planner having to take continuous action. As soon as the time slot is confirmed, this becomes immediately visible in the planning.

This smart integration saves time, prevents errors, and ensures the efficient handling of container transport within the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, and international port areas.

The Pre-planning Module is based on an Excel-like component and supports drag-and-drop, editing, and direct data entry. Transport orders can be provisionally scheduled and vehicles temporarily assigned.

Pre-planning schedules are automatically saved and immediately visible to other users. Once the schedule is finalized, it is converted to the e-Lips TMS planning board with a single action. The integrated absence calendar automatically accounts for unavailable equipment and personnel.

e-Lips TMS is fully integrated with the PTV Developer map. During planning, trips become immediately visible on the map, including routes, distances, and driving times. The system automatically calculates the optimal route, giving planners immediate insight into kilometers, travel time, and the feasibility of trips.

This map integration supports accurate planning and helps in making informed decisions during the planning process.

The extensive PTV Developer integration is fully available within e-Lips TMS. In addition to the familiar route calculations, supplementary calculations are possible based on vehicle profiles within the fleet, such as accurate toll and emission calculations per trip.

With the CO₂-based toll system for trucks in the Netherlands, e-Lips TMS automatically calculates emissions per vehicle profile. This takes into account factors such as vehicle weight and drive type. Emissions are recorded at the trip level and align with the ISO14083 standard and international regulations. The calculations are accredited by Smart Freight Center (SFC).

e-Lips TMS supports complex planning involving multiple trucks, drivers, and trailers. Transport orders are easily distributed across multiple trucks, ensuring that upstream, main, and downstream routes remain logically connected. In the Location screen, the Turn Around Time is visually displayed using a clear gauge pointer. As the average handling time increases, the pointer becomes more intensely colored. This allows planners to see at a glance how long a location takes on average and enables them to immediately focus on efficiency.
