Automation

In e Lips TMS, automation is central to the daily work of transport companies.

By automating as many processes as possible, you work faster, make fewer mistakes, and maintain control over your operations. From order processing and planning to pricing, invoicing, and communication, everything works together automatically within one system.

e-Lips TMS Order Invoer

Discover the possibilities for automation

Automatic order import

Transport orders are automatically created in e-Lips TMS via files, connections, or web services. Orders are received immediately and correctly based on fixed definitions, without manual entry. This ensures a fast, error-free start to the process and prevents duplicate work in planning and administration.

Automatic document linking

Documents such as CMRs, photos, and attachments are automatically linked to the correct order. Scored or digitally submitted documents are immediately visible within the trip file. As a result, all order information remains complete, organized, and always available without additional actions.

Automatic ETA Calculation

e-Lips TMS automatically calculates the estimated arrival time of trips. By combining current data with internal calculations and Turn Around Time, loading and unloading times are also included. This results in reliable arrival times without manual calculations and supports tight operational control.

Automatic Trip Communication

Communication regarding trips is automated. Status updates, ETAs, and changes are shared directly with customers and charters. As a result, planners do not need to constantly call or email, and a central, automated communication flow is created comparable to an integrated CRM.

Automatic waiting time notifications

When waiting times occur during execution, e-Lips TMS automatically sends notifications or emails to the customer. This ensures transparency during the transport process and supports the correct and substantiated charging of waiting time costs.

Automatic Chassis Rental & Notifications

Chassis rental is calculated fully automatically based on coupling and uncoupling times. The system independently determines the rental period, excludes weekends and public holidays, and applies the correct rate. The calculated chassis rental is automatically included in the invoicing, ensuring no costs are missed.

When containers remain uncoupled for an extended period, e-Lips TMS automatically sends chassis rental notifications to customers. These emails contain clear information such as container number, daily rate, and uncoupling time. The content and recipients are configurable per customer, and notifications are sent only once.

Automatic pricing

Based on contracts and price agreements, e-Lips TMS automatically calculates revenue and costs per trip. The system takes routes, tiers, toll and road charges, terminal surcharges, and additional agreements into account.

Costs for deployed charters are also automatically calculated separately, ensuring constant insight into margin and results.

Automatic invoicing

After automatic pricing, invoices are generated without manual intervention. Invoicing proceeds according to fixed agreements per customer, including collection settings and billing times. This speeds up administration and reduces the risk of errors.

Invoices are automatically sent via email to customers configured for this. Automatic printing can be applied for other customers. This ensures the sending process is consistent, efficient, and fully automated.

Automatic validations

Automatic checks can be set up per customer, such as blocking invoicing when mandatory documents are missing. These validations automatically monitor the process and ensure quality, control, and error-free invoicing.
