To be prepared for the future, we have been working for quite some time on a major technical step: the transition of e-Lips TMS from on-premise to SaaS.
What does this entail?
Up until now, e-Lips TMS has run on a dedicated server within the company for most customers. We call this the on-premise version. In the future, we will also offer a SaaS version, which stands for Software as a Service. This version runs entirely in the cloud and is accessible via the internet.
For you as a user, nothing changes in terms of content. The SaaS version has exactly the same functions as the current on-premise version. You will continue working as you are used to, with the same screens and capabilities. The only difference lies in the underlying technology.
In the SaaS environment, everything is managed by Erniesoft. Think of updates, security, backups, and performance. This ensures you always work with the latest version of e-Lips TMS, without having to do anything yourself.
Why this step?
The switch to SaaS is a logical next step in the development of e-Lips TMS. We see that an increasing number of companies require additional capabilities to use their systems anywhere and anytime, without being dependent on their own server environment.
With e-Lips TMS SaaS, we offer this option alongside the existing on-premise version. The SaaS variant makes management even simpler, as updates, security, and backups are performed automatically. This allows you to choose what best suits your organization: maintaining control yourself with the on-premise version or being completely unburdened with e-Lips TMS in the cloud.
Where do we stand now?
We have been working on this development for some time and are now well advanced. Most technical steps have been taken, and we are continuing to build a stable, secure, and scalable environment. Our goal is to ensure that the SaaS version works just as fast and reliably as the on-premise variant.
Because both versions share the same foundation, switching will be simple. You can continue working with the familiar functionality, but in a modern cloud environment.

Soon, you will be able to choose between two ways to work with e-Lips TMS: the current on-premise version on your own server or the new SaaS version in the cloud, fully managed by Erniesoft.
